KD Pharma manufactures a line of green pharmaceutical excipients and starting materials from unique and sustainable sources. We believe that by using sustainable sources, we can help reduce our impact on the environment while still providing high-quality products for the pharmaceutical industry.
One of the ways we achieve this is by manufacturing pharmaceutical-grade glycerol made as co-products of our marine lipid API manufacturing. These materials are derived from renewable sources and are produced using environmentally friendly methods. By providing these products, we are able to provide our customers with high-quality excipients and starting materials that are both sustainable and effective.
In addition to marine-derived co-product glycerol, KD Pharma can also provide extra-pure vegetable-based glycerol. This grade not only fully complies with the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) specifications, but is manufactured to even tighter internal purity standards, offering enhanced stability and suitability for sensitive pharmaceutical formulations.
